Introduction


Welcome to the Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club Web Site . The club caters for a number of water sports including canoeing, sailing and rowing. The club is located in Greenock on the scenic Clyde estuary. The scenery in this area is outstanding and the water is ideal for water sports. The club is easily accessible by road and rail and is only 22 Miles from the centre of Glasgow. See our location page for directions and our contact page for details how to contact the club.

Closing Dinner

The club committee are looking for feedback on the possibility of having a closing dinner for all club members.At this date there is no fixed date for the dinner but so the committee can guage interest and before anything is arranged could you please add your name to the list on the club noticeboard if you would like to take part.

kayak section coaching night will commence on the 1st of April and from then on every monday and tuesday from 6.15 pm

Power Boat Course

RYA power boat course level 1 and 2 2 day course provided by Maritime connections Cost £150   ( normally £175) including assessment fee max number 6 candidates to 2 instructors Date to be arranged
